1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Macroat ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Macroat mobile application, website at macroat.com, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, downloading the app, or accessing any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Macroat is a personal fitness coaching application that provides:

• Personalized meal planning based on your nutritional goals and preferences
• Smart workout plan generation and progress tracking
• Food photo scanning and nutrition label analysis
• Step tracking with daily streaks and progress monitoring
• Access to 129+ healthy recipes in our Kitchen library
• An in-app coaching assistant for nutrition and fitness guidance
• InBody and body composition tracking tools
• Macro and calorie tracking features

Some features are available on our free plan. Premium features require a paid subscription as described in our Services & Pricing page.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Macroat. Users in the EU/EEA must be at least 16 years of age. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements.

If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Service and agree to these Terms.

The Service is currently available primarily in Saudi Arabia and the broader MENA region, though access is not restricted by geography.

4. Your Account

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Not share your account with any other person
• Not create multiple accounts for the same individual
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Free Plan: Macroat offers a free tier with core features. No payment information is required.

Premium Plans: Macroat offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Current pricing is available on our Services page. Subscriptions provide access to premium features including unlimited credits, advanced analytics, and priority support.

Billing: All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's payment terms and authorize Apple to charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.

Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not have direct control over refund decisions made by the App Store.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable advance notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Scrape, extract, or systematically download content from the Service
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Service
• Post content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable
• Share false or misleading health and nutrition information through the platform

7. Health & Medical Disclaimer

The content provided through Macroat — including meal plans, workout recommendations, nutrition analysis, and coaching messages — is for informational and motivational purposes only and does not constitute medical, clinical, or professional dietary advice.

Macroat is not a medical device, healthcare provider, or registered dietitian service. The app is a fitness and wellness tool designed to support a healthy lifestyle.

You should:

• Consult a qualified physician or healthcare professional before starting any new diet or exercise program
• Not use Macroat as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Seek immediate medical attention for any health emergency
• Use your own judgment and professional guidance when following nutritional or fitness recommendations

Macroat shall not be liable for any injuries, health complications, or adverse effects arising from the use of our recommendations.

8. Intellectual Property

All content within the Macroat Service — including but not limited to the app design, logo, text, graphics, recipe content, workout plans, algorithms, software code, and brand elements — is owned by or licensed to Macroat and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This license does not grant you the right to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content.

The Macroat name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Macroat. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to Macroat (such as food logs, photos, and personal data). By submitting content, you grant Macroat a limited license to use that content to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights to submit any content you provide and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.

We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Any results obtained from use of the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Macroat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting the app and canceling any active subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) shall remain in effect.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Saudi Arabia.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Post a notice within the Macroat app
• Send an email notification to your registered address (for significant changes)

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
